Self-Contained Delidding
Facilitate microplate delidding on your robotic platform without the need for external vacuum sources or compressed air.
Intelligent Monitoring
Equipped with vacuum sensors on each channel and system reservoir, the controller is able to determine the status of a delidding operation and provide feedback to the process controller on every delidding operation.
In addition, a front panel touchscreen interface allows users to directly view the status of each plate nest, and manually lid or delid plates as required.
Control Interface
Digital Communication
RS-232 and Ethernet interfaces are both available on the controller. The RS-232 interface implements a basic query/response ASCII protocol that can be easily integrated with any third-party PLC, robotic contrller, or other instrument.
The Ethernet interface exposes a Modbus TCP interface, allowing for easy integration with external control PC's or modern robotic arm controllers/pendants from Universal Robots, Staubli, etc.
Remote Operation
Space within your robotic work cell is a premium. A modular design allows this control unit to be placed up to 7 feet away from the actual delidding tower, outside of the robotic cell.
Two tower variants are available: one with a flat base suitable for placement on any work surface (120405), or one with a reduced footprint base that may be bolted to a horizontal surface or bolted to a vertical support for a further reduced footprint (120429).
